CP 2007 - Greetings from Karlovy Vary, Czech republic
Dear friends,
what a wonderfull time we had! I would like to say again THANKS A LOT to every one, but most to Herve, Hans and Jeanne for all the effort to bring this event to live. You may think that we from Czech republic had a great time just beeing together - and it was truth, we really enjoyed each other - but personally I also get a big encouragement to find more about Salvation Army. It was a great time and also very valueable.
I wish to all of you His presence in your life, blessing, courage, wisdom and patience in all you do.
Petr

CP 2007 - The day after
Dear friends
Long ago I had noticed that it is easier to leave than to be left behind. As one group after the other left the Training Centre, it came home to me what a wonderful week of fun and fellowship we had experienced, and how much we were going to miss you.
We spent most of the morning evaluating the pilot course with Hans and Jeanne. There is a lot that worked perfectly, and that does not need changing. The things that will change will be in order to make the Catherine Course even better suited for all participants.
We looked at a logo for the Catherine Programme. Brandon had very quickly sketched one that has great potential. The one at the top of the page is a further development from it, so thank you, Brandon, for your idea and allowing us to use it.
At exactly 4pm a report from the Czech delegation arrived. It read: "Good day, Herve. We just arrived in Prague. Thanks for everything. Honza"
Jeanne wrote: "The college must be a very empty place at the moment. We look back at a great time."
I placed a link to the books Lars Lydholm mentioned, "Salvation Story" and the Study guide for it. You will find the links on the right of this blog.
I have placed the documents on our Bed&Breakfast site "www.alegria-bb.org", where you will see pictures of the Training Centre in Basle, so if you want to show your friends how the bedrooms or the dining hall looked, take them to that page. You can also reserve rooms there for your next visit to Basle!
Take care. Come back to this site, and if you receive an invitation to join the blog, make sure you leave a message.
